What does One Care Portal do?

One Care Portal is a care management and billing platform for adult day care centers and Medicaid waiver agencies.

We help providers manage documentation, attendance, compliance, and claims submission in one place so their teams can spend less time on paperwork and more time on care.

How did you end up working in health tech?

I got into health tech by working closely with care providers and seeing how much of their time was being lost to paperwork, disconnected systems, and billing complexity.

I wanted to build software that solves real operational problems for agencies that are doing important work in their communities.

How does your role intersect with revenue cycle management (RCM)?

As founder of One Care Portal, I work closely on the operational side of billing workflows. That includes helping agencies move from documentation to cleaner claim submission, improving visibility into claim status, and making it easier to understand what was paid, denied, or needs follow-up.

What do you think RCM will look like two years from now?

I think RCM will become more automated, more real-time, and more connected to the point of care.

Teams will expect faster claim feedback, better denial visibility, and fewer manual handoffs between documentation, billing, and reconciliation. The platforms that win will be the ones that make billing feel less like a separate process and more like a natural extension of care operations.
